Key Responsibilities
- Managing emails and responding to general enquiries
- Assisting with scheduling meetings and appointments
- Supporting Teams meetings, including setting up calls and taking minutes
- Helping with data entry and maintaining records
- Managing social media updates, engagement, and content creation
- Assisting with funding applications and donor communications
- General administrative tasks to support the team

Volunteer Admin/Support Staff

About the Role:
We are seeking a Volunteer Admin/Support Staff member to assist with the smooth running of Resilient Bonds CIC. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting mental health initiatives. Your support will help us reach more people in need and ensure our operations run efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Passion for mental health, well-being, and supporting the military and blue light community
✔ Prior admin experience is a plus but not essential

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Passion for mental health, well-being, and supporting the military and blue light community
✔ Experience in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
✔ Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and informative content
✔ Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
✔ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
✔ Prior experience in social media management is a plus but not essential

What You'll Be Doing
- Offering 1:1 counselling sessions (online)
- Supporting clients with emotional regulation, trauma, anxiety, stress, and life transitions
- Keeping brief and confidential session notes
- Attending monthly supervision and team check-ins
- Helping promote emotional wellbeing within our community

Volunteer Counsellors Wanted – Make a Real Difference

About the Role:
We’re looking for kind, compassionate individuals to volunteer their time and skills to support young people, or adults navigating emotional and mental health challenges. Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced counsellor, this is a chance to make a real impact in a supportive and reflective environment.
Experience with military families or a military background is especially welcome—many of the people we support are navigating the unique challenges of service life, deployment, or transition to civilian life.
We’d Love To Hear From You If You:
✔ Are a qualified counsellor
✔ Are passionate about making a difference
✔ Are open to reflective practice and ongoing learning
✔ Have an understanding of, or lived experience with, military or service life (ideal but not essential)
